Acetylcysteine is available to us in a form of pill that must be taken 3 times a day with or without food as per your doctor's prescription. Depending upon the condition of disease, the doctor's guideline for medicine dosage may vary. Take this tablet only by mouth with water as guided by your doctor. You can also go through the leaflet information available for you. This medicine prevents the effects of some antibiotics. If you are taking any antibiotics, make sure to take this medicine with a gap of 2 hours before or after using the antibiotics. Do not increase the dosage or take it more often than prescribed. Consult your doctor in case of any query.
