Possible Uses of Altace: This medicine is an ACE inhibitor used to treat high blood pressure. It may also be used to treat congestive heart disease and other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Before using Altace: WARNING: This drug can cause serious fetal harm if used during the last six months of pregnancy. If pregnancy occurs, stop using this drug and immediately contact your physician. How to take Altace: Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. If you have difficulty swallowing the capsule, the contents may be sprinkled on a small amount of applesauce or mixed with 4 ounces ( 120ml) of water or juice. It is best to eat or drink the entire mixture immediately after mixing. These mixtures may be stored in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours.
