Precautions When Using Ceclor: IF YOU HAVE HAD A SEVERE ALLERGIC REACTION to a cephalosporin antibiotic (such as Ceclor, Keflex, Ceftin, Duricef) or a penicillin antibiotic (such as amoxicillin, ampicillin), contact your doctor or pharmacist BEFORE TAKING THIS MEDICINE. A severe reaction includes a severe rash, hives, breathing difficulties, or dizziness. If you have a question about whether you are allergic to this medicine or if a certain medicine is a cephalosporin, contact your doctor or pharmacist. If your symptoms do not improve within a few days or if they become worse, check with your doctor. IF MODERATE TO SEVERE DIARRHEA OCCURS during or after treatment with this medicine, check with your doctor or pharmacist. Do not treat it with non-prescription (over-the-counter) medicines. IF YOU EXPERIENCE difficulty breathing or tightness of chest, swelling of eyelids, face, or lips, or develop a rash or hives, tell your doctor immediately. Do not take any more of this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so. Caution should be used in the elderly since they may be more sensitive to the effects of this medicine.
Side Effects of Ceclor: SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medicine include dizziness, tiredness, headache, mild diarrhea, or stomach upset. 1. What is cefaclor (Ceclor) and what is it used for?
Cefaclor is a medical drug available to us under the name Ceclor which belongs to a class of medication called Cephalosporin antibiotics. 2. When and how to use cefaclor?
Cefaclor is available to us in a form of pill that must be taken by mouth with or without food as per your doctor's prescription. In case of an upset stomach, take it with food or milk. The dosage and length of the treatment is based on your medical condition, response to the treatment and other medicine that you may be taking for the same or different reason.
