Possible Uses of Benzonatate :
This drug is used to treat coughs brought on by the common cold as well as other respiratory conditions such pneumonia, bronchitis, emphysema, and asthma. Before using Benzonatate :

Your medical condition and treatment response will determine the dosage. Do not use more of this medication than is advised. While doing so might have negative side effects, it won't make your cough go gone more quickly.

Precautions When Using Benzonatate :
Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history.

You can feel lightheaded or sleepy after taking this medication. You may become more woozy or sleepy after consuming alcohol or marijuana (cannabis). Till you can do it safely, avoid operating machinery, driving, or doing anything else that requires alertness. Limit your alcohol consumption.
