How Generic Sustiva Works

Generic Sustiva suppresses HIV replication by binding to and altering the reverse transcriptase enzyme. This prevents the virus from making DNA copies of itself, a crucial step in the HIV life cycle.

Although Sustiva does not cure HIV, consistent use with other antiretroviral medicines significantly lowers viral load and improves immune function. Proper adherence reduces the risk of HIV progression and drug resistance.
